Peter Som – Think someone’s been listening too much to Katy Perry’s California Girls, but love the use of colours & prints. Reem Acra – Almost eveningwear, but with a laidback boho touch I love the hair & the jewellery! And I WOULD wear a cocktail dress out with flats/sandals. Jason Wu – Elegant, feminine and strong. Love that his line is always feminine but never too over-the-top frilly for my liking. He has gone from strength to strength Pics via style.com

Another dull & dreary Monday. What better way to shake it up with a spot of colour with some fall/winter 2010 pieces? FW2010 Richard Nicoll’s draped velvet maxi dresses give off that relaxed glamour. I don’t know how many people would wear this trend but I could think of many ways to make this more casual, for instance by wearing this with a pretty sandal to a party. Fashion shows: Audi Fashion Festival, Blueprint & Tokyo Girls Collection

Managed to catch the Mango show at the Audi Fashion Festival as my friend C got tickets to the show. Also attended the Blueprint trade show at the F1 pit building, which was pretty impressive. I did not expect that many labels to be there, and the overall quality of the show was up there. Hopefully, they will be able to get more South East Asian designers to participate in the future shows. However, what really struck me about the Mango fashion show was the scene in the Mango store after the fashion show. There were many customers who were so excited by the clothing they had seen in the…

    Audi Fashion Festival

The Audi Fashion Festival 2010 in Singapore is coming up! 28 April – 2 May 2010 at the Tent@Orchard. Anchored by heavyweights such as DSquared & Roberto Cavalli who are coming here for the first time, it promises to be a week of high end glamour & fashion. I’m kind of disappointed that there is only 1 local label alldressedup that is showing, but on the line there is also the Samsung Designer Showcase that possibly has other local designers lined up, although there are no details yet. Head to Audi Fashion Festival for the schedule & more details.
