    EMERGING FASHION LABEL: SELF-PORTRAIT

From L to R: Illusion Flare Dress, Colour Bomb Dress, Panelled Pleated Midi Dress, Origami Wrap Skirt, Ruffled Up Panelled Dress Designed by Malaysian-born Han Chong, Self-Portrait is one of the new emerging labels from the UK to watch. Chong was originally part of the team from another emerging UK label Three Floor,  but has since started his own line, which dishes out really edgy patchwork pattern dresses. Okay, can I say how much I love it? The materials used are feminine with the use of lace & bright colours, but the strategically placed cutouts make the pieces one-of-a-kind. Perhaps you’ve already seen the Illusion Flare dress on none other…

BEST OF SPRING 2013: PROENZA SCHOULER

You can tell a Proenza Schouler design by its modern take on prints, textures and colours. This collection was no different. I loved that it became a ‘random’ mix of everything and still everything ties in so well. Loved the use of the digital print dresses at the end with the grommet details. The PS girl is always cool & modern.         Shop Proenza Schouler Ready to Wear here.
